Banana puree with coconut – baby yummy I promised to cook recently. I love coconut in everything. It is super tasty combined with banana. I think both these fruits are simply perfect and also perfect for each other.
Banana is sweet and has a warm yellow color. Kids and especially babies love banana. And coconut? It smells like a paradise, just open a fresh coconut, close your eyes and let your senses bring you instantly to Oahu. You can also serve this to your friends as a smoothie or frozen like ice cream.
This recipe is so simple you will have time to take extra rest while your baby takes a nap after this tasty snack. I am adding cinnamon to this yummy fruit combination, it is up to you. It should surprise your baby’s taste buds and let it experience a new flavor.
You may be wondering if it is appropriate to include coconut milk and cinnamon. I have a clear opinion on this. Why not give it to your baby? You can find so many studies, views, and everything on the Internet that it makes one’s head spin.
Of course, you need to be careful about something, but there is no need to be unnecessarily scared. In the beginning, let the baby taste just a little bit, and observe for a possible allergic reaction. I’m not telling you to give your child everything without thinking, but instead, I want to provide you with the courage to try something new. You can buy coconut milk or make your own, for example, according to a recipe for homemade coconut milk.
I prepared this goodness for my little buttercup, and I did not regret it.
|Preparation time:||3 minutes|
|Cook time:||1 minute|
- 1/2 ripe banana
- 2 tbsp coconut milk
- a pinch of cinnamon powder (optional)
- a handful of forest fruits (optional)
Peel a banana, cut it in half and squeeze smooth. Add coconut milk, a pinch of fragrant cinnamon powder and mix everything to combine the flavors. Optionally, we can add a few raspberries or blueberries, or omit cinnamon.
Serve immediately. If you make more portions, store them carefully.
Note: Coconut not only has excellent vitamins C and B but also potassium, which is fantastic for a healthy heart and strengthens muscles. Plus, it’s perfect for digestion. Cinnamon, in turn, is a great helper in the proper functioning of brain activities, strengthens the immune system, and does very well in the belly of a small baby.
The first time Emily tasted banana puree with coconut
Banana already had its premiere, and now I was wondering if we would like this exotic combination. Coconut did not disappoint us. She ate with joy and “dredged” the whole bowl.
No allergic reaction came, so these two new ingredients, coconut, and cinnamon have a place of honor on the shelf.
