As you can see, this porridge is the very first meal where I have incorporated butter instead of oil. My princess has been eating vegetables without butter for almost a month. I found it appropriate to try and change her menu by adding something new.
I must say the porridge was perfect. At the same time, the preparation took me only a moment. This is the reason why I love this baby recipe.
|Preparation time:||10 minutes|
|Cook time:||30 minutes|
- 2 middle-sized sweet potatoes
- 1tbs butter
- MM or baby food formula
- 50 – 100 ml kojenecké vody
Peel the sweet potatoes, cut into small dices and put it in a steam cooker. Pour the baby water into the steamer and let it steam for about 30 minutes until it is completely soft.
Once the sweet potatoes are ready, carefully remove them from the pot and place them in a larger container. Add butter and maternity milk according to babies palete. Blend it smoothly. If the porridge is too stiff, pour some additional water from the steam pot.
Serve this porridge right away, store one portion in the fridge for the next day and freeze the rest (sweet potato porridge lasts up to three months).
